They were extremely courteous and friendly. Went to Brick Best Buy and in a short while problem was solved. User ( 22:52) Had a small problem with an appliance purchased 2 months ago. But always willing to help if you can find someone. No one has to deal with gender discrimination. And, not only that, they never have any accessories for tablets or other things, the shelves are always empty. The culture of the whole company needs to change. I am just so sick of walking into any Best Buy, and being IGNORED because of my gender, and my age. They had to go to the mobile area to get the nice girl who was helping me earlier to help with the tablet. I walked over to them, all three of them and asked if any of them could help me. Lots of blue shirted people stocking things, but no one wanted to help me spend my money. Then when I was done, I headed back to look at Samsung tablets, and I was there for 20 some odd minutes. I was helped immediately when I came in, spoke for a while with a very nice young lady in the cell phone area who gave me great help. I went in to purchase a simpler tablet this time. I experienced it again tonight the Brick store. As the technical person in my family, I find it DEGRADING and SEXIST. Not one Best Buy employee will ask me if I need help. I could have my wallet out, my cash out, waving it around. I could be standing in any department, wanting to spend $5000. User ( 10:32) As a woman, I find shopping at Best Buy degrading. Before then I would have rated them probably a 2. They've definitely stepped up their game in the last 2 years. User ( 05:08) Staff is friendly and helpful for the most part. Overall, the employees of Geek Squad were courteous, professional, and helpful. I made the mistake of not making a reservation and had to wait for over an hour before someone could help me. User ( 16:55) If you ever want to go to the Geek Squad counter, you should schedule an appt. Overall helpful staff and lots of options. Sometimes though you do need to track down someone on the floor. User ( 00:14) People are always available to help and almost always ask if you need help. So then I called around trying to find someone to complain to and I was transferred 4 times and put on hold just to be hung up on again. Instead of transferring me to the manager she transferred me to a robot that didn't get me to a manager. I asked to speak to a manager and she asked me why I needed to speak to a manager so I told her why. I asked her why she told me she didn't have it at first and she claims it wasn't her who answered the phone the first time. So I called back to tell her they had it in stock and she said they did. I saw that the shredder I called about was in stock. So I called bestbuyonline myself and they were able to tell me how to check availability myself. She just hung up instead of transferring me. She said she would transfer me to bestbuyonline to tell me how. I asked her how to check the stock of an item online myself. The lady I talked to told me she didn't have it in stock. User ( 00:57) I called to see the availability of a shredder I saw online that I wanted. Company did a terrible job and had to have them come and reinstall dishwasher and fridge. 3rd party company that delivers appliances SUCKS! Had fridge, dishwasher and stove delivered. User ( 10:43) Store is nice, clean and well organized. They also will give you comparisons on a cheaper and more expensive item so you can make an informed decision. Very eager to answer questions and help you find what you are looking for and/or need. Keep up the good work guys!! User ( 08:13) Workers are knowledgeable and pleasant. They were not pressuring me to buy anything but we're very informative. The staff was very helpful and went out of their way to make sure I found what I wanted. User ( 10:50) This was one of the better best buys that I have been to. After waiting, they gave very personal attention. The store wasn't overly crowded, but the staff was all busy helping clients. User ( 03:41) I had to stop in to pick up an item I bought online, I would usually prefer the Eatontown location. Overall store is clean and neat, plenty of stock. added new lines, instead of doing upgrades. The only negative time was purchasing phones, 4 to be exact, and the associate sort of screwed up. I have had very good experiences purchasing products here. Plus most of them are pretty knowledgeable about the products they are hawking.
